With the construction of a modern hall complex, Kajima Deutschland was able to successfully realize another demanding project – once again demonstrating its expertise in functional industrial construction, quality, and sustainability.

After the dismantling of an old section of the hall, a new building was created on the freed-up site, designed consistently with efficiency, future viability, and user orientation in mind. The skeleton construction method with high-precision prefabricated elements enabled rapid execution while ensuring maximum stability. The load-bearing structure made of reinforced concrete columns in combination with prestressed concrete roof trusses creates a durable, flexible foundation for a wide range of usage scenarios.

For the building envelope, Kajima relied on sandwich panels that not only provide high-quality thermal insulation but also give the façade a modern and attractive appearance. The system was supplemented with a roof featuring PIR insulation and a robust PVC covering, ensuring energy efficiency, durability, and absolute tightness. This means the hall meets all requirements of the GEG40 standard – a clear statement in favor of sustainable construction. Particular attention was paid to safety: with a newly built sprinkler pump station and a firewater tank, the building’s fire protection level was significantly increased.

In addition, massive concrete light wells, asphalted main traffic routes, and parking areas paved with concrete blocks ensure functionality, comfort, and long service life. The project is an exemplary demonstration of how technical innovation, economic efficiency, and architectural quality can be combined.

For our client, a hall was created that not only meets current requirements but also guarantees long-term flexible, safe, and energy-optimized use.
