Innovation Meets Japanese Precision and International Vision
On May 15, 2025, Kajima Deutschland participated in the WA! JAPAN – Mini-Expo at the Embassy of Japan in Berlin — an inspiring event where 20 leading Japanese companies presented their visions for the society of tomorrow under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”
The focus was on topics such as urban development, sustainable construction, digital connectivity, and the EXPO 2025 in Osaka as a global driver of innovation.
Kajima seized the opportunity to share insights into current projects, forward-looking construction concepts, and international collaborations during a compact panel presentation. The company was represented by Yuji Suzuki (Technical Director), Yoshihisa Furukawa (Director Design), Kentaro Takashima (Technical Control Manager), and Jens Salatzki (Senior Project Manager).
Particularly notable was Yoshihisa Furukawa, who delivered a strong presentation impressively highlighting the connection between Japanese engineering, cultural precision, and innovative thinking.
The event provided numerous opportunities to exchange ideas with decision-makers from business, politics, and academia — reflecting the ambition to work together with partners to create sustainable solutions for the built environment of the future.
As a company with Japanese roots, Kajima brings decades of experience and deeply embedded values such as reliability, precision, and long-term thinking to its projects. Particularly in the field of industrial and logistics real estate, the focus is on the revitalization of brownfield sites and the development of functional, future-ready buildings.
The WA! JAPAN – Mini-Expo was a successful example of international collaboration and cultural knowledge transfer — and a powerful signal of how Japanese and German perspectives can come together to help shape a more livable future.
